Support EU project INFINITE — Help to shape the printed electronics education!
The project helps grow vocational training centres for the printed electronics industry across Europe. To support multi-national training programmes, INFINITE is looking for members of the industry.
The INFINITE project - which is supported by OE-A - is tackling the skills gap in the emerging field of flexible, printed and organic electronics (PE). This technology enables the creation of lightweight, flexible electronic devices, but demands new expertise not covered by traditional education. INFINITE is building a network of Vocational Excellence Centres across Europe, with partners from multiple countries developing advanced training programmes. By connecting education, research, and industry, INFINITE aims to prepare a skilled workforce and support sustainable growth in the European economy. This can only be achieved by knowing the needs of the sector. The more precise and complete the information are the better the future curricula cover those needs, which ultimately enables the PE field to flourish.
Participation in the survey until 15 December
Therefore, we kindly ask you to fill in the INFINITE survey in which this information are collected. The survey is meant for people who are dealing with PE topics already or are at least from a related field of printed electronics (like electronics, chemistry, printing, ...). It takes about ten minutes to complete the survey (anonymous). The survey link can be found on oe-a.org or directly at the project website. Of course you can also forward this linkt o your own contacts. The survey is open until 15 December.
The INFINITE project aims to foster growth, innovation and inclusivity.
Interview partners are wanted
Additionally, the project team is looking for people (from teaching / vocational training or from industry management / HR or being skilled coworkers / employees) who are willing to give a 30-minute interview related to the field of PE. This interview is not only meant to get insights from experts of PE but also to get to know what it would take to implement topics of PE in your curricula and to better prepare your workers for the field of PE. The answers are processed in an anonymous way and finally summarised in a report for the European Commission. Please let us know if you are willing to give an interview, contact Isabella at isabella.treser@oe-a.org or write to info@infinite-training.eu.
